We're currently on the search for an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT who will work PART-TIME on our small but mighty team here at Trinity's Services And Food for the Homeless.
This role will be a mainly administrative office position, but will also interact with our guests in our food pantry. The right candidate will be someone will computer skills, a basic understanding of accounting, and an easy going laid back personality that is able to work with a wide and varied background of people.
This role will work approximately 15 hours per week; $20 per hour
Some tasks include:
Assisting in accounting/bookkeeping for both Trinity’s Services and Food for the Homeless, Inc.and Trinity Lower East Side Lutheran Parish.
Working alongside the Executive Director, assist in the scheduling of volunteer groups and individuals to work in the Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry, in addition to doing out reach to our existing network of volunteers.
Assist in registering clients in Food Pantry, working alongside our Client Intake Coordinator
Assist with all office paper and digital filing, thank you letters for donors for SAFH.
This role will also perform various small, related tasks as they relate to Trinity Lower East Side, working with the Pastor. These tasks could include filing, thank you letters, assisting in bulletins, and other office tasks.
